Favourite Podcasts
It's certainly not unique to me that I love listening to podcasts. Whether I'm tidying up the apartment, going for a walk, blow drying my hair (the only way I can do it now), podcasts are one of my favourite sources of inspiration, knowledge and, of course, entertainment. I have a regular rotation that hits a number of categories: wellness, female entrepreneurship, and guilty pleasures. I always like hearing what others are listening to and so thought it would be fun to share my top picks here. Please leave your favourites in the comments below!
Wellness:
The Perfectionism Project: I discovered this one at the beginning of this year when I was doing some serious soul work. For anyone who is a perfectionist (honestly, a better term is "fearful procrastinator") then this is for you. It's really helped me start to get out of my own way and I've never felt as "understood" than when listening to Sam.
Move With Heart: I've been an MWH fan for a while and I always enjoy Melissa's raw and honest conversations about her personal struggles but I really love her interviews too.
Sophie: Obsessed With Feeling My Best: I've been super impressed by this podcast and the guests that Sophie has on, especially female entrepreneurs.
Female Entrepreneurship/Business/Marketing:
Second Life: This is such a good podcast for when you want to get the behind-the-scenes, honest background story of some very successful women. Hillary always ask the best questions and these interviews are always a reminder that every success story has a beginning (and a few failures along the way).
The Goal Digger Podcast: Jenna is no newbie to the podcast world, I'm pretty sure this is ranked as one of the top marketing podcasts. She's relatable, a great speaker and gives tangible advice.
The Dream Bigger Podcast: This is my latest addition and I go back and forth on whether or not I'll stick with it but it's been growing on me recently. I like listening to Siff's day-in-the-life episodes as I'm getting ready or cleaning the apartment.
Guilty Pleasures:
The Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous Podcast: I don't even watch the Bachelor franchise anymore yet for some reason I'm so intrigued by Bachelor gossip. There's something almost incestuous about the whole franchise and I'm. here. for. it. lol.
Crime Junkie: This is what I listen to when I blow dry my hair and it makes the process SO much more enjoyable. It's the only true crime podcast that I can follow and not get distracted.
