A Christmas Wishlist
cosmetic pouch | pearl earrings | pendant light | call it home book | body cream | half wallet | gift card | striped throw | bubble bath | slippers
I have fond memories of being a kid and making my Christmas list to send to Santa each year, and receiving back the generic letter we all received from Canada Post - oops, I mean Santa. The thrill that was flipping through the Toys R Us newspaper inserts and drawing up a (much too long) list. While I no longer send a list off to the big man anymore, I do often make a list, oftentimes just for fun and of course if someone asks (aka my mum, mother-in-law and husband). My birthday is a month after Christmas and so it often carries over into that as well. I also use it when I'm shopping Black Friday sales, making sure I don't impulse buy something just because it's discounted. I always make sure it's well-curated and only items I've been wanting for a while and know I will cherish. I did in fact already buy something on this list today, the One Wednesday throw I've been meaning to replace for years ever since 6-month old Penny got her teeth into it. If you're looking for a throw that gets better with age, this is it (unless you have a piranha for a puppy).
