Bath Tea Salts

DIY

I've been living for baths lately. There's something so comforting (and warming) about taking time to yourself, away from the screens, and simply just relaxing. I'll usually light a candle, maybe add a diffuser and play a calming Spotify playlist. I recently upped by bath game by making these tea salts, basically herbal or floral bath salts that you scoop into a tea bag to infuse your bath. (The tea bag prevents your drain from clogging up). While I was making these just for myself, I also thought these would make for a great Christmas gift. With all the time we are spending at home, why not get crafty and cross some gifts off your list!

Bath Tea Salts

3 cups epsom salts

1 cup Himalayan pink salt

1/2 cup baking soda

1 cup dried flowers (I did 1/4 lavender, 1/4 rose petals, 1/4 chamomile, 1/4 calandula)

20 drops essential oil (I did lavender)

Reusable tea bag

1. Mix altogether and store in a jar. For gifting, place a reusable tea bag inside and tie a mini scoop around the jar with twine.

2. To use the salts, simply scoop enough to fill the bag and place in the bath right when you are about to get it.

Tip: I love adding 1 tablespoon of sweet almond oil to my baths. Makes your skin super moisturized!
